Greenfire Loft is bringing you free live music and hosting local artisans during the Capitol Hill Art Walk at the Melrose Market every second Thursday in 2018.

Artisan: Bone China Designs (also a part of Roselit Bone!)

Roselit Bone are a band from Portland, Oregon, United States. They combine elements of 1950's Hollywood cowboy music, Mexican mariachi and ranchera, hot-rod rockabilly, and cinematic Morricone-esque arrangements with the visceral songwriting and stage presence of Nick Cave or Tom Waits. The result is a performance that draws from the loneliness, desperation, violence, and ominous beauty of the American old west to reflect on the chaos and environmental unraveling of the world to come.

Bone China Designs: Porcelain skull inspired creations handmade in Seattle, Washington.

From the artist: "I've grown up all my life with artist parents who own a ceramic business. Ever since I can remember I've been playing with clay, my work slowly taking form into better and better works of art. Living in a heavily wooded setting there has always been finds of small bones on my walks and ramblings, now I try my best to recreate my findings in clay."
