Music meets fashion with handmade wearable art by musical artist, Kara Hesse.  A touring, Seattle-based songwriter who has spent the last decade dedicating her life to full-time music, opening up for such acts as Steve Miller Band, Buddy Guy, Al Green, and the late BB King, she found herself dabbling in beads, bone, lace and leather in the passenger seat of a van to pass the time on the road, spawning her very own handmade jewelry line, Roadworn. "I like to think of each piece as a song.  It's not just jewelry.  They each have a story and a birthplace."  Join us at Melrose for a trunk show and live music by the artist.
